We want every Cross + Covenant garment you receive to feel right. If something is off, we will make it right. That is why we offer a simple 30-day open return policy: if you are not happy with your order, send it back within 30 days for a refund or exchange, no hard questions asked.
30-day open returns
You have 30 days from the delivery date to return any item for any reason, including a change of mind or the wrong size. To be eligible, the item should be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition. Email sarah@modernmustardseed.com with your order number to start a return and we will send you the next steps.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we cover everything. Email us within 30 days with your order number and a clear photo of the issue and we will ship a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund, your choice. No need to send the item back in these cases unless we ask.
- The item arrived damaged in transit
- The item has a manufacturing defect (misprint, holes, broken stitching, peeling print)
- You received the wrong size, color, or design from what you ordered
Exchanges
Need a different size or design? Start a return within 30 days and place a new order for the item you want, or email us and we will help you swap it. Check our size guide before reordering so the new one fits just right.
Refund timing
Approved refunds post to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
Lost packages
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot find the package, check with your neighbors and household first, then email us within 7 days. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and replace the order if confirmed lost.
